Vehicle recalls.

OK so we know that the mass market assembly of any item can cause an issue.  But our cars are items that we get in every day, turn the key and drive off.  We probably don't really think too much about it.  Servicing, tyres, clean windows all play an important part in our, and other's road safety.

New figures show that 2.6 million vehicles were affected by a recall between April 2015 to March 2016. How recalls work Manufacturers should recall vehicles when they become aware of a safety problem, and repair them free of charge. Some parts and accessories - such as child car seats and tyres - aren't registered to drivers like vehicles are, so manufacturers can't always trace the owner. I just did a check on the new, to me, Hyundai Terracan.  There is a recall concerning the brake discs, but looking at the VIN numbers, mine is outside the recalled vehicles.  Now thats lucky as we tow all sorts with the Terracan, and what a great job it truly does.

WOW!  These look great for tyre pressures on the car and trailer. Fit 2 Tow TPMS.  Look great.  I will get a set and put onto the Terracan and use with I Want to Tow.

A great safety device and not too expensive!

I am sure these guys are breeding.  Went up to the Black Country to get this one.  It s mighty fine.  Nice condition and the new lino arrived for the floor today!

Because of where we got it from we have christened him "Black Country Trailer"

When the weather brightens up, we will be finishing off "Black Country" and he will be up for sale.  There is no awning with him though.

Dementia, we are in it for the long haul.

What a life changing disease, for both the individual and the close family.  Close friends no longer call, money becomes tight and you realise how very hard the system is.

Friends who think you had it all, suddenly stay away, you know the ones, those who used to pop in for a chat, some advise or maybe to enjoy your generosity.  You are still the same person.  If you had a broken arm, or leg, they would come round and offer to do the shopping.  Dementia is no different guys, its just some bits in Dad's brain that have broken,  Still you have made your choice to stay away, I understand the fear.  But We, Caroline and I have no choice, we must be there, even though we are very afraid,
